How Low Can He Get?
With his "wee-weed" remark, Obama has given us the disgraceful spectacle of a president of the United States employing a scatological metaphor.
I will resist the temptation of saying that perhaps it's appropriate given the receptacle into which he's steering the country.
I will simply say that I never thought a president could make me miss G.W. Bush's use of the english language, but Obama has.
He apparently doesn't realize that being a good father to one's children doesn't require talking like a child...

Yes, You Could.
But you really shouldn't have...
The Obama Presidency is a thing to be endured, not celebrated.
At the negligible risk of putting a damper on the saccharine, semi-orgasmic revelry attending the election of Barack Obama, I must say that said election is a cause for trepidation, not celebration.
The cult of personality which has sprung up around the now-former junior senator from Illinois is at its core quite disturbing, even "creepy", to use the vernacular. It reminds one of nothing so much as the old Soviet Union, right down to the Soviet-style propaganda posters.
This sort of worshipful devotion to a leader is profoundly Un-American. No one is deserving of it, particularly not a man whose political resume is sparse, to put it kindly.
The starry-eyed Know Nothings have elected their messiah, and the rest of us are stuck with him. Mr. Obama cannot walk on water, but he may well drag the country down for the third time, if we aren't careful.
It's the Night of The Obama Zombies, people, and like all good zombies they are in search of brains...because clearly they have none.
